Ever since the Industrial Revolution, Machines are known for replacing manual human workers for better efficiency and reducing cost. This trend continued further after the invention of computers and the internet. Computers replaced many mathematicians, ATMs replaced Bank Tellers, and more. Technology is constantly replacing human workers, and it has become increasingly popular in the AI era. However, As I said the trend isn’t new. It has been happening since the Industrial Revolution. Humans are constantly switching from doing the work manually by hand to operating a machine or tool to do the work for them. It is usually more efficient and less time-consuming.

However, people in this AI era (specially people in tech industry) are fearing that they will lose jobs to robots and/or AI agents. However, to make the world a better place, we need to adapt to new technologies and innovations. Some people may lose job. Many will, but those who adapt, will remain relevant in the future. In the future, people will not do anything. But operate the agents or machines that are doing work for them. For the better future we need to adapt modern technology in our personal and professional lives. Those who won’t adapt will eventually become irrelevant in the future.

My country, The People Republic of Bangladesh is slowly but surely adapting to the new AI era. Our government released the first draft of AI Policy of Bangladesh in 2026-01-25. Learn more here: AI Policy for Bangladesh
